Monteagle Lane is due to be closed for roadworks between the two junctions with Wordsworth Avenue, during the hours of 0730-1830 (weekdays) and 0800-1600 (Saturdays). The road will remain open on Sundays. Buses will run as far as the Vigo Lane/Monteagle Lane roundabout, then return along Vigo Lane and Hall Lane, then divert via Firgrove Road, School Lane and Old Monteagle Lane, to resume the normal route on Monteagle Lane at the Waitrose stop. During the closure hours buses will be unable to serve the bus stops on Monteagle Lane at Vigo Lane and Wordsworth Avenue. Please use alternative bus stops at Dickens Way or Waitrose. |
